245 Valencia, before it became Annunication Cathedral. The building was the Valencia Theater and was constructed in 1908 by Sarah B. Melone. The theater had 1,700 seats. The theater closed in 1924 and was later purchased in March, 1928 (see cost breakdown). Click on the image to see a larger view.

I would like to know about Greek families from Santa Rosa in the 1920′s. My Greek grandfather was Peter Nicholas or (Diamandis may have been the name in Greece instead of Nicholas). The Greeks in Santa Rosa came to San Francisco for the major Feast Days such as Christmas.
