Greek Ranch Hand Commits Suicide

Nick Coloss, A Greek ranch-hand, shot himself at the Denver House, on Third Street, at 1:30 o'clock this morning. He died shortly afterward.

Coloss was 21 years of age. He left a letter, written in greek, which has been translated as follows:

"The girls of the Barbary Coast are very bad. They rob all us poor farmhands all the time, like me."
