Greece May Be Depopulated

Four hundred Greeks recently quit Greece for the United States. The journals of the country all raised a cry of protest on seeing them get out. If it were the first emigration of this sort, they say, they would not complain, but it only one of a series that is fast depopulating the mother country. They demand that the Government take steps toward preventing the exodus of her young men.

The only saving feature of the emigration to the United States is that some of the emigrants send money or return with money to enrich the country -- New York World.
