(Special Dispatch to the "The Bulletin")

REDDING, June 6. - At Gibson's Switch yesterday an extra gang of railroad workingmen composed of twenty Greeks assaulted Greek George, the boss, with knives and pistols, and swore to kill him. The wife of the section boss came to George's rescue and stood the whole gang off with a rifle. They finally escaped and went north on a freight train after robbing the section foreman of $600.

The gang was traced to Montague, where Constable Brown of Dunsmuir captured the team and they are now in jail at Dunsmuir, charged with highway robbery and assault to kill.
