Annunciation Cathedral is pleased to introduce Foundations of Orthodoxy, a new catechetical ministry offering a thoughtful and accessible introduction to the life, faith, and theology of the Orthodox Church. This course provides a structured overview of Church History, Holy Scripture, the Holy Mysteries (Sacraments), and core Orthodox theological principles, with particular emphasis on how the faith is lived, prayed, and embodied within the life of the Church today. While Foundations of Orthodoxy is an essential part of the journey for catechumens preparing to enter the Orthodox Faith, it is also open to all baptized Orthodox Christians who wish to deepen their understanding, renew their faith, and become more firmly rooted in the Church’s tradition.

Classes are held Fridays from 6:00 PM to approximately 7:30 PM in the second-floor conference room at the Annunciation Cathedral.
