Annunciation Cathedral is proud to offer Greek cultural enriching programs, one of which is our Greek Dance Program. kids and adults learn dances from all regions of Greece, as well songs, traditions and customs from particular villages chosen by the directors. Groups are divided by age group and dancers can also participate in the annual Folk Dance Festival dance competition (FDF), which usually takes place over President’s weekend in February.*
Greek Dance Program Schedule
Practices usually begins in late August or early September and end in June. Contact us at sfgreekdance@annunciation.
Practice is weekly on Sundays, additional practices may be scheduled in anticipation of performances and FDF.

Registration and Pricing
All participants must be pledged members in good standing of the Annunciation Cathedral
Cost per dancer is $350 for the year for Rizes, To Mellon, Revmata, and Spithes; $175 per dancer for Orama.** Dance dues cover instructional materials, the cost of costumes, workshops, musicians, and other dance related needs.
